The Spearman’s Rank correlation method has been adopted to find out the correlation between literacy rate and sex ratio. Based on this statistical method, result shows that there is a moderate and positive correlation (r=0.41) between literacy and sex ratio. Arc GIS 10 software is used for preparing maps. Key Words: Literacy rate, Sex ratio, Spearman Rank correlation, Social development
