Temporary planting of leaf turnip under the film cover in different periods and its influence to the yield

The following article describes the investigation results of planting new vegetable type for our Republic turnip greens under temporary cover in different periods and its influence to the yield. Research conducted in the vegetable, melons and potato experiments field of SRI in 2012-2014 years. After new variety of vegetable leaf turnip introduced to the conditions of Uzbekistan, identification of its preferable sowing periods of time became our prior aim in research. We have chosen Darmon variety as the object of our investigation which was created through the introduction method for controlling by state commission. In order to produce new product and receive high yield, seeds have been sown in 6 different periods of time in early spring to the fields which were prepared in autumn season. During the third period the following high indicators are observed in the plant: leaf height (22,3 cm), width (10,2 cm) and single plant contains (8,3 pieces). Regarding the first period it showed high results to 5,7%;3,0%; 2,5%. The leaf height slightly increased in third period of sowing comparing to first period. Results show the best sowing period for planting turnip greens it is February 20 and total yield made up 15,6 t/ha as it was the best crop comparing to other periods. Comparing to yield control period it increased to 1,0 or 106,8 %.
